Position suitable receptacles under the drain screw (2)

Remove filler screw (1) and drain screw (2)

Clean drain screw magnet (2).

Drain transmission oil

Screw in drain plug (2)

Replace sealing ring on oil drain screw (2). Oil thread slightly.

Remove and bridge electrical connector at thermo switch of the oil pump

Only transmissions with power take-off or transmission oil cooling.

During bridging the oil pump is switched on and fills the oil cooler. Then screw the electrical connector back on.

Warning

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Start engine

Only for transmissions with power take-off or transmission oil cooling.

Allow engine to run for 2 min. and then turn off again.

Remove filling screw (1)

Only transmissions with power take-off or transmission oil cooling.

Top up transmission oil

Only transmissions with power take-off or transmission oil cooling

Refill oil until it reaches lower edge of filler opening.
