For analysis of fault profiles and function complaints it is necessary to adapt the damage code logics specifically to groups 54.30 (instrument cluster, display instruments, warning systems) and 82.85 (Navigation and communication_systems).
Damage type 90 (software release) will be discontinued. A new damage code shall be defined as a replacement, which can then be used to provide a more accurate customer complaint assignment.
We would like to ask you to select the created damage codes with the assigned damage types from the Function Head unit and Instrument cluster picture charts to match the customer complaint, to then be able to submit the warranty or goodwill claim.
This procedure leads to a faster fault remedy process and an improved assignment to each supplier.
