Validity
The "Live Traffic Information" service is enabled for the above-mentioned vehicles in the following countries: A, B, CH, CZ, D, DK, E, F, FI, GB, H, I, L, N, NL, P, PL, S
In this Service Information bulletin, we would like to inform you of changes with regard to the activation, use and renewal of the "Live Traffic Information" service in combination with "COMAND Online".
Renewal of Live Traffic subscription
In order to be able to use "Live Traffic Information" after the three-year period for free-of-cost usage expires, the customer must register beforehand on the "Mercedes me Portal" under https://www.mercedes.me and accept the terms and conditions of use.
The customer must then register his vehicle in his "Mercedes me Account".
The customer can then renew the "Live Traffic Information" service subject to a charge via the "Mercedes me connect Store". If the subscription is not renewed, only the free-of-charge TMC service will be available (depending on the country).
Live Traffic registration
Registration is relevant only for the above-mentioned vehicles as of manufacture date 01.09.2016 with code 367 (Live Traffic Information).
To be able to utilize the benefits of "Live Traffic Information" free of charge for a total period of three years, the customer must in future register in the Mercedes me Portal and connect his vehicle there.
For vehicles between manufacturing date 01.09.2016 and 31.08.2017, the "Live Traffic Information" service in combination with "COMAND Online" was initially activated ex-factory for a registration phase of 3 months.
If registration does not take place at https://www.mercedes.me within the registration phase, the "Live Traffic Information" service will be discontinued.
Please note that this 3month registration phase is not applicable to vehicles as of manufacturing date 01.09.2017. Registration is required as of the first day of use by the customer. Free-of-charge use for a total period of three years begins with acceptance of the terms and conditions of use for the "Live Traffic Information" service.
"Mercedes me connect" aftersales support
To ensure that efficient diagnosis is possible for the services and functions connected to "Mercedes me connect", a central contact person has been established for aftersales.
