The primary shaft (5) of the gearbox is shifted (not in line) with respect to the secondary shaft (6).

The shift synchronization mechanism for 1st and 2nd gear is integrated in the intermediate shaft. The synchronization mechanisms for 3rd, 4th and 5th gears are integrated in the primary shaft. The reverse shaft set is comprised of the axle (8), wheel with bearing (10) and the shift set, not synchronized. The change in direction of rotation is transmitted from the 1st gear wheel with bearing (9) to the primary shaft (6). The integrated differential (7) is comprised of a housing, two scatellites, one satellite axle, two planetary members and one ring gear.

The gearbox shafts are supported on shielded ball bearings and cylindrical roller bearings. The differential is supported on two tapered roller bearings.

The lubrication of the gearbox is maintained constant by immersion in the oil and by the bubbling created. The correct lubrication of the bearings is ensured through the axles, spaces, grooves and ribs in the gearbox housing.

The gearbox is comprised of a clutch housing (1) and a gearbox housing (4), gear selector axle cover and outer bearing cover. All the parts of the housing are made of pressure cast aluminium, for resistance reasons it is reinforced with ribs.

The speeds are captured by a sensor (G3).

The reverse light switch (S19) is activated directly by the fork.
