Task
The synchronization task involves getting the loose wheels of the gears to turn in a synchronized way with their respective shaft, under the following requirements:
Rapid synchronization
Reduced connection forces
Long working life (reduced wear, constant friction coefficient)
Function
1st and 2nd gear synchronization
The 1st and 2nd gear synchronization is carried out through a double tapered synchronization installed in the secondary shaft (9). The general character is the added middle synchronizer ring (4) between the outside (2) and the inside (5) one. Due to the great stress, it is advisable for the 1st and 2nd gear to have double tapered synchronization. With the double friction, the wheel can be braked more quickly. Thus we achieve the desiredcomfort in the gearshift.
3rd, 4th and 5th gear synchronization
The 3rd, 4th and 5th synchronization is carried out through tapered synchronizers installed in the primary shaft (20).
Reverse
The reverse connection system is not synchronized. The reverse connection is made with the shift ring (22) which is connected with the geared ring (25) secured in the reverse wheel with bearing.
