Model 220 and 211

If "circuit 15 is ON" or by one time actuation of the start/stop button Keyless Go (S2/3), if brakes are not actuated, the CDI control unit (N3/9) switches on the right front fuse and relay module (K40/7) (model 220) or the driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) (model 211).

The CDI control unit (N3/9) supplies the preglow signal to the glow output stage (N14/2) through a serial interface. The fuel pump (M3) is switched on through the fuel pump relay (K40/5kT model 220), (N10/2kA model 211).If the starting procedure is not performed, the fuel pump is switched off again after about
3 seconds.

Model Series 163

If "circuit 15 is ON" the CDI control unit (N3/9) switches on the left front fuse and relay module (F1).

The CDI control unit (N3/9) supplies the preglow signal to the glow output stage (N14/2) through a serial interface. The electrical fuel pump assembly (M3) is switched on through the relay for fuel pump (F1k3).If the starting procedure is not performed, the fuel pump is switched off again after about

3 seconds.
