 Body shell measure at attachment of front axle carrier and rear axle subframe to body shell.

On all vehicles of model series 222.1/9 with code Z07, 2 mm thick reinforcements (A) are attached to the body screw connections for the front axle carrier and rear axle subframe during production. For this purpose, round washers are inserted in the area of the front axle at the front screw connections between the integral carrier and body. The thread corresponds to the standard threaded connection M14x1.5. Reinforcement plates are riveted to the rear screw connection of the integral carrier. The thread no longer corresponds to the standard threaded connection. The threaded connection is changed from M10x1.5 to M12x1.5 during production. In the area of the rear axle, reinforcement plates are soldered on the bodyshell side to the front and rear screw connections of the rear axle carrier. The thread corresponds to the standard threaded connection.

During damage diagnosis and when setting down on the straightening systems from CELETTE, CAR BENCH and CAR­O­LINER, the following points must therefore be observed when checking and fixing in place on the different straightening systems:

 Car Bench

Departing from the data sheet A4244504_V222_2880 and depending on the application, the height difference of 2 mm and the threaded connection M12x1.5 must be taken into consideration using the appropriate parts when adjusting the vehicle on the universal system.

 CAR­O­LINER

Departing from the data sheet 14:156 and 614:121 and depending on the application, the height difference of 2 mm and the threaded connection M12x1.5 must be taken into consideration using the appropriate parts when adjusting the vehicle on the universal system.

 CELETTE

For damage diagnosis and repair of the vehicles on the body straightening system (picture B), a specific supplementary package is now available in combination with the existing basic package.
