| Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts | ||
Danger ! | Risk of injury caused by body parts being pinched or crushed as cab is tilted | Ensure that no one is within the tilting range of the cab as it is being tilted. Always tilt the cab all the way to the end position and secure with the safety strut.
1 | Tilt cab | ||
| Notes on tilting the cab | ||
2 | Remove upper and lower noise encapsulation
3 | Remove treadboard/cover above the transmission
4 | Unpressurized circuit 4 of compressed-air system | Loosen union nut (19) on clutch booster (10) approx. two revolutions, counterholding the banjo bolt (18) in the process.
5 | Detach brake lines from cab carrier | Cut cable ties and move brake lines to one side.
6 | Detach cab support from frame | With code F04 (L cab)
Move cab carrier to one side with lines connected.
Bolt, rear cab support to vehicle frame
