Check

1

Clean area around oil filler screw / oil check screw (1) and oil filler screw (2)

 Oil filler screw (2) not on transmission 715.320/350.

Undo oil filler screw / oil check screw (1) on transmission and check transmission oil level

 The transmission oil must reach the lower edge of the hole for the oil filler screw / oil check screw (1).

Correct

Remove oil filler screw (2)

 Not on transmission 715.320/350 and only if the transmission oil level is too low and refilling at the oil filler screw / oil check screw (1) is difficult.

Refill transmission oil up to lower edge of hole for oil filler screw / oil check screw (1) or oil filler screw (2)

 Observe the oil quality set in the maintenance system or the Specifications for Operating Fluids.

Screw in oil filler screw / oil check screw (1) and oil filler screw (2) by hand

 Danger!

Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by jamming and burns when working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running

Secure vehicle to prevent it moving off.

Always wear appropriate work clothing when working on the vehicle.

Start engine, run for approx. 2 minutes and switch off again

Undo oil filler screw / oil check screw (1) and then check transmission oil level again, top up transmission oil if necessary

 The transmission oil must reach the lower edge of the hole for the oil filler screw / oil check screw (1).

Tighten oil filler screw / oil check screw (1) and oil filler screw (2) with new sealing rings
