4 | Shift transmission into neutral or idle position. | ||
5 | Open window on driver's door for steering angle routine. | ||
6 | Switch off ignition. | Do not remove the transmitter key. Otherwise the steering wheel lock may engage. | |
7 | Close all doors and flaps as well as hoods. | Vehicle must remain clear of any load forces. | |
8 | Mount quick clamping device. | ||
9 | Attach measuring heads of wheel alignment measurement system. | ||
10 | Unlock turnplates and sliding plates. | ||
11 | Determine vehicle level at front and rear axle using electronic inclinometer. | ||
12 | Perform initial measurement. | ||
13 | Compare determined values with the specified values. | The caster on the front axle cannot be adjusted. | |
