Detach tire

AR40.10-S-1030S

Do not exert any force on the tire pressure sensor (5).
The tire pressure sensor (5) will be damaged otherwise.

Unscrew valve stem (3)

When reusing the tire pressure sensor (5).

Clean

6

Clean tire pressure sensor (5)

When reusing the tire pressure sensor (5).

Only remove dirt with a clean, lint-free cloth. Do not use compressed air, solvents or cleaners.
Otherwise, the tire pressure sensor (5) may be damaged.

The tire pressure sensor (5) cannot be reused after using the TIREFIT tire repair kit.

7

Clean the disk wheel in the area of the valve bore

Install

8

Insert screw/bolt (6) into the guide on tire pressure sensor (5) and tighten valve stem (3) slightly by hand

Use valve protection cap (1) made of plastic.
Otherwise, there is a risk of corrosion.

Replace screw/bolt (6), valve stem (3) and union nut (2).

9

Insert valve stem (3) into valve bore of disk wheel

10

Tighten union nut (2)

Do not counterhold valve stem (3) when tightening the union nut (2) in any case.
Otherwise the valve stem (3) is not screwed on correctly and the tire pressure sensor (5) may get damaged when driving.

The effect of a breakage washer in the union nut (2) is that the valve stem (3) is screwed on to the tire pressure sensor (5) first upon tightening. After perceptible fracture of the breakage washer the valve stem (3) is then screwed on to the disk wheel.
