Install reverse gear shaft (15)

 The reverse gear (30) and needle bearing must be positioned precisely. Grease reverse gear shaft (15) Insert 2/3 of the reverse gear shaft (15) by hand with thread pointing outwards and drive in as far as stop using a plastic mallet.

Install the transmission output flange (19), washer (20) and screw (21)

Clean sealing surfaces and coat with sealing compound.

Turn drive shaft (7) slightly while doing so.

Support countershaft (6) at output side (arrow) to support plate (40)

 A metal piece of 95 mm in length must be used for the support (e.g. a bolt of at least 14 mm dia.).

Install grooved ball bearing (5)

 Knock in inner ring of grooved ball bearing (5) until it abuts with the front section of transmission housing (26).
