Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.

Remove

Remove the expansion tank cap

Remove the central, front and right front parts of the bottom engine compartment paneling

Drain off

Push the drain hose onto the sleeve on the drain valve (3)

Open the drain valve (3), drain the coolant, and collect it in a suitable container


Only open drain valve (3) far enough for coolant to flow out.
Otherwise damage will occur on drain valve (3) and in engine cooling system radiator (4).

Close the drain valve (3)

Remove the coolant hose from the connection fitting (1) and drain escaping coolant in a suitable container

Install the coolant hose at the connection fitting (1)

Remove the coolant hose (31) from the oil cooler  (32) and collect escaping coolant in a suitable container
