Detach compressed-air lines (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6).

Label all compressed-air lines (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) in relation to connections.

With compressed air connector system "VOSS 230".

With compressed air connector system "VOSS 232" (NG 8, 12) or "SCHÄFER SDF" (NG 6).

Detach overflow valve with limited return flow (7.02) from compressed-air distributor (7).

Check production date on model plate of removed overflow valve with limited return flow (7.02).

Overflow valves with limited return flow (7.02) manufactured after production date 98/19 (year/week) can be reused.

If the production date is before "98/19", replace overflow valve with limited return flow (7.02) with an overflow valve with limited return flow (7.02) manufactured after 98/19.

The MB part. no. 004 429 66 44 and the gray part no. 314 014 031 remain unchanged.

Detach compressed-air lines (1, 8) from air suspension air reservoir (5.01a).

In many cases, the compressed-air line (8) and the overflow valve with return flow (7.01) may be connected to another connection of the air suspension air reservoir (5.01a).

Detach overflow valve with return flow (7.01) from air suspension air reservoir (5.01a).

Install

Attach removed or new overflow valve with limited return flow (7.02) to center connection of air suspension air reservoir (5.01a).

Observe direction of flow.

Move safety valve (30.01).

If the safely valve (30.01) is installed in the center connection or in one of the side air reservoirs, it must be installed in the right connection of the air suspension air reservoir (5.01a).

Attach check valve (8.01) to left connection of air suspension air reservoir (5.01a).

Observe flow direction of check valve (8.01) (direction of arrow on check valve (8.01)).

Connect compressed-air line (1) to check valve (8.01).

With compressed air connector system "VOSS 230".

Installation: check O-rings and install new O-rings if necessary.

Extend compressed-air line (6) and route from left side of frame along frame crossmember to air suspension air reservoir (5.01a).

Connect compressed-air line (6) to overflow valve with limited return flow (7.02).

With compressed air connector system "VOSS 230".

Installation: check O-rings and install new O-rings if necessary.

Attach overflow valve with return flow (7.01) to compressed-air distributor (7).

Observe direction of flow.

Connect compressed-air lines (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) to compressed-air distributor (7).

Note marking.

Route compressed-air line (8) from right side of frame along frame crossmember to overflow valve with return flow (7.01) and connect.

Secure compressed-air line (8) with tie straps.

With compressed air connector system "VOSS 230".
