We would like to notify you that the models mentioned above can be converted by S&G Automobil AG or Hardstaff for mixed-fuel mode using diesel fuel and natural gas (Dual Fuel). Converted vehicles can be recognized by the following features.
Entry in the data card in VeDoc: Code Z20 (Conversion to gas-diesel mixed-fuel mode)
Gas-cylinder carrier with gas cylinders on vehicle frame, in addition to fuel tank
The conversion shall be commissioned by and paid for by the customer. Daimler AG has endorsed the gas-diesel mixed-fuel mode, it shall however not accept any warranty for the technical modification scope, and for any resulting consequential damage on the vehicle or the engine.
In the event of damage to the vehicle or the engine, which is directly related to the gas-diesel mixed-fuel mode conversion procedure, Daimler AG shall not assume any warranty. Any resulting claims must be submitted directly by the customer to the company responsible for conducting the conversion for clarification.
For damage that is not caused by the conversion to the gas-diesel mixed-fuel mode, the vehicle manufacturer warranty shall remain in full effect.
All work and conversions on the system components for the gas-diesel mixed-fuel mode, may only be conducted by skilled technicians from the company-owned sales and service outlets, service partners or the commissioned company.
