Remove

Suction off AdBlue® from the filler neck (1) and hose (3).

If there is AdBlue® in the filler neck (1) and hose (3).

Remove the coolant expansion reservoir and place it away from the working area.

 Do not extract coolant. Do not remove the lines or hoses.

Release the hose (2) and detach it from the AdBlue® tank.

 Seal the connection on the AdBlue® tank.

Release the hose (3) and detach it from the AdBlue® tank.

 Seal the connection on the AdBlue® tank.

 Record plug

Release the filler neck (1) (arrow) and remove it forward.



Install

Insert the filler neck (1) through the opening in the crossmember.

 Note the routing of the hoses (2, 3).

Install the filler neck (1).

 The filler neck (1) must audibly lock.

If the filler neck (1) does not lock correctly,



Determine cause and rectify.

Remove the hoses (2, 3) on the AdBlue® tank.

Install the coolant expansion reservoir.

Pour in AdBlue®.

If AdBlue® has been suctioned off.

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
