Remove the air duct segment (10) of the charge air cooler (11).

 The air duct segment (10) is attached to the charge air cooler (11) at several points.

Remove the oil cooler for the automatic transmission from the condenser (4).

Remove the refrigerant lines (5) from the condenser (4).

Compressor oils (specification 362.1)

 To do so, remove nuts (6).
Seal the refrigerant lines (5) and condenser (4).

 Installation: Replace sealing rings and moisten with compressor oil.

Disconnect the electrical connection for the pressure sensor (7).

Remove the cooler (1).

 To do so, release the locks (9) and carefully push the cooler (1) toward the engine.

Remove the cooler (1) upward.

 Installation: Make sure that the cooler (1) is positioned correctly in guides in longitudinal members.

Remove hose of coolant expansion reservoir from cooler (1).

If the cooler (1) is replaced.

Remove condenser (4) from cooler (1).

If the cooler (1) is replaced.

Remove the charge air cooler (9) from the cooler (1).

If the cooler (1) is replaced.

Install in the reverse order.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
