Remove/install

Remove condenser fan unit.

Remove radiator grille.

Remove screw (1).

Unclip oil cooler (2) from holder (3).

Remove oil cooler (2).

 To do so, remove lines (4). Collect escaping transmission oil. Seal off lines (4).

Install in the reverse order



Check oil level in automatic transmission.

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Check oil cooler (2) and the lines (4) for leak tightness with engine running.
