Remove

Remove clutch.

Clean

Clean two-mass flywheel (3).

Loctite 7200

Loctite 7063 (400 ml) cleaning spray

Measure

Attach dial indicator (01) together with the dial indicator holder (02) to the two-mass flywheel (3).

 The tip on the dial indicator (01) must lay as shown between the threaded hole and the bore for the centering pin of the gearing on the cylinder crankcase.

Screw the screw of the clutch attachment into the two-mass flywheel (3).

 Screw screw/bolt of the clutch attachment opposite the dial indicator (01) some revolutions into the two-mass flywheel (3).

Bring dial indicator (01) to zero position.

Press two-mass flywheel (3) opposite the dial indicator (01) by hand onto the outer area of the friction surface in the direction of the engine.

 Read off the measurement in the pressed condition and note for computation of the overall tipping play.

Pull two-mass flywheel (3) by hand at the previously screwed in screw in the direction of the power take-off side of the engine.

 Read off the measurement in the drawn condition and note for computation of the overall tipping play.

Determine overall tilting play and compare with highest value of the tilting play.

 To do this add together values, independently of the algebraic sign, to obtain a overall value.

If the highest value of the tilting play is exceeded,



Replace two-mass flywheel (3).

Remove dial indicator (01) and dial indicator holder (02).

Turn two-mass flywheel (3) at positioning pin (1) clockwise against the end stop or resistance and counterhold.


Do not overpressure the resistance upon reaching the end stop.
The actual value will be falsified otherwise.

Mark position of the flexible part of the two-mass flywheel (3) relative to the fixed part.

Turn two-mass flywheel (3) at the positioning pin (1) counterclockwise against the resistance or against the end stop and counterhold.


Do not overpressure the resistance upon reaching the end stop.
The actual value will be falsified otherwise.

Mark position of the flexible part of the two-mass flywheel (3) relative to the fixed part.

Determine torsioning play of the two-mass flywheel (3).

 To do this count off the teeth on the starter ring gear within the position markings on the two-mass flywheel (3) and compare with the specified value.

Replace two-mass flywheel (3).
