01 Compression recorder

1 | Bring the engine up to operating temperature (approx. 80 °C) | Test compression pressure only when engine is at normal operating temperature. | |

3 | Remove the partition wall between the wheelhouse liners | ||
4 | Remove air filter housing | ||
5 | Remove a spark plug from each cylinder | ||
| Replace spark plugs | ||
6 | Switch off the ignition, remove the ignition key (transmitter key) | On vehicles with Keyless Go, code 889: Press keyless go start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off | |
7 | Crank engine with starter | Crank engine by pressing contact switch at compression tester (01). | |
In order to remove the combustion residue from the cylinders, crank the engine for about 5 seconds with the starter. | |||

10 | Perform inspection of the other cylinders at the same time as the first cylinder | ||
