M33 Elektrische Luftpumpe

Anordnung

Die Luftpumpe ist vor dem Saugrohr angeordnet.

Aufgabe

Die Elektrische Luftpumpe fördert die Einblaseluft zur Abgasseite des Motors.

Aufbau

Elektrisch angetriebene Flügelzellenpumpe. Die Einblaseluft wird aus dem Luftfilter (Reinluftseite) angesaugt und über zwei Druckanschlüsse durch die Luftabschaltventile zu den Auslasskanälen gefördert.

Funktion

Die Elektrische Luftpumpe wird bei freigegebener Lufteinblasung über das Relais Lufteinblasung parallel zum Umschaltventil Luftpumpe für maximal ca. 40 s angesteuert. Ihre Stromaufnahme beträgt bei 13 V ca. 45 A.

Dabei saugt sie aus dem Luftfilter (Reinluftseite) die Einblaseluft an und fördert sie über zwei Druckanschlüsse durch die Luftabschaltventile zu den Auslasskanälen. Läuft die Luftpumpe z. B. durch eine falsche Ansteuerung länger als ca. 4 Minuten ist sie beschädigt.

Nach einer Ansteuerung bleibt die Lufteinblasung gesperrt. Eine erneute Freigabe der Lufteinblasung erfolgt erst, wenn die Katalysatoren aufgrund einer ausreichend langen Stillstandszeit des Motors wieder kalt sind. Die Elektrische Luftpumpe hat so genügend Zeit um wieder abzukühlen.

Die Lufteinblasung darf mit der STAR DIAGNOSIS für maximal

2 Minuten gewollt angesteuert werden. Vor der nächsten Ansteuerung ist eine Abkühlzeit von 30 Minuten unbedingt einzuhalten, da sonst die Luftpumpe beschädigt wird.
