Remove coolant hose (1) from coolant pipe (2) and capture escaping coolant with a suitable container.

Only for engine 900.915/916, 902.923/924/935, 904.927/928, 906.935/955 in model 405 with code N08 (engine power take-off shaft drive 1,000 rpm)

Remove coolant hose (3) from coolant pipe (2) and capture escaping coolant with a suitable container.

Remove coolant hose (4) from coolant pipe (5) and capture escaping coolant with a suitable container.

Remove both coolant pipes (2, 5).

Remove air intake pipe (6).

Release all clamps from coolant pipe (7).

Remove screws (8) from the belt pulley (9).

Remove belt pulley (9).

Remove clamping device from the oil filter housing.

Remove coolant line (11) from coolant pump (12).

Remove coolant thermostat (13).

Remove coolant hose (14) from coolant pump (12) and collect escaping coolant with a suitable container.

Remove banjo bolt (15), remove coolant line (16) from the coolant pump (12), and collect escaping coolant with a suitable container.

Installation: Replace sealing rings (17).

Remove coolant hose (18) from connection piece (19) and collect escaping coolant with a suitable container.

Disconnect engine wiring harness connector plug (20) from coolant temperature sensor.

Disconnect connector plug from intake air preheating temperature sensor.

Only for vehicles with code M89 (intake air preheating)

Remove screws (21) from connection piece (19).

Remove hose (22) of the crankcase ventilation system.

Remove screws (23, 24) and remove coolant pump (12) together with the connection piece (19).

Remove connection piece (19) from the coolant pump (12).

Remove pipe (25).

Installation: Replace pipe (25).
Coat pipe (25) with lubricant.

Remove seals (26, 27).

Installation: Install new seals (26, 27).

Clean sealing surfaces on the crankcase and on the coolant pump (12).

Install in the reverse order.

Bleed engine cooling system.
