Remove/install

Remove V-belt for fan drive.

Remove charge air cooler.

Slightly press radiator unit forwards and secure in place with suitable spacers.

Release tension of poly-V-belt (2) and remove.

 Do not kink poly-V-belt (2) during removal/installation.

 Installation: Ensure poly-V-belt (2) is correctly seated.



Check

Check poly-V-belt (2) for wear and damage.



If problems exist,



Replace poly-V-belt (2).

Check tensioner pulley (1), belt pulleys (3, 4, 5, 6) and guide pulley (7) according to equipment for wear and damage.

If problems exist,



Replace affected parts.
