	Removing
1	Remove flywheel (1)		AR03.30-W-8002A
	Checking
2	Clean flywheel (1) and inspect clutch surface (friction surface) for scorch marks, scores and cracks, dimensional accuracy and also check flatness with a straightedge (3)	 If a problem exists, the clutch face (friction face) must be re-machined by grinding or precision-turning.

	Machining
3	Machine flywheel (1)	 For machining of the clutch friction surface the flywheel width (E) of the flywheel (1) must not go below the minimum.	*BE03.30-N-1008-03B
		Observe peak-to-valley height for machining. If peak-to-valley height of the clutch friction surface is excessive, this will increase the wear of the clutch plate.	*BE03.30-N-1006-03B
		If peak-to-valley height is insufficient, this can result in separating problems of the clutch. After machining, there must not be any cavities or chatter marks on the clutch friction surface.
4	Check concentricity and lateral trueness of flywheel (1)		*BE03.30-N-1009-03B
