2	Attach turning device (3) and block turning device (3) by inserting the pin		AR03.30-W-1600-03A

3	Pull crankshaft position sensor (B15) or crankshaft position sensor (B73) out of the timing case
4	Remove two opposing bolts (2)	 Screwdriver bit	*904589001000
5	Screw centering drift (4) into threaded hole	 Alignment punch	*904589026300
6	Unscrew remaining bolts (2)	 Screwdriver bit	*904589001000
7	Remove flywheel (1) over the centering drifts (4)	 Screw two bolts (M880 or M1080) into the opposing threaded holes of the flywheel (1) and detach flywheel (1).
	Checking
8	Check clutch surface on flywheel (1)	 If burned, scored or cracked: 
		Rework flywheel (1) or	AR03.30-W-8022A
		install new flywheel (1).
9	Check flange on flywheel (1)	 For galling by the radial shaft sealing ring: 
		Replace rear radial shaft sealing ring and	AR03.20-W-3063A
		install new flywheel (1).
10	Check ring gear on flywheel (1)	 If worn: 
		Replace ring gear of flywheel (1) or.	AR03.30-W-8312A
		install new flywheel (1).
11	Check locating bearing in flywheel (1)	 If worn: 
		Replace locating bearing in flywheel (1).
		Engine 904.9 up to engine end no. 106313, Engine 906.9 up to engine end no. 106163	AR03.30-W-8401A

12	Measure shank length (L) of bolts (2)	If permissible shank length (L) is exceeded, replace bolt (2) concerned.	*BE03.30-N-1010-03B
13	Check bush for crankshaft position sensor (B15) or crankshaft position sensor (B73)	 Replace bush if there is damage.
	Install
14	Install flywheel (1) over the centering drifts (4)	 Observe installation position of dowel pin in the crankshaft. Remove both bolts (M880 or M1080) on flywheel (1).
15	Coat bolts (2) with engine oil and screw in	 Do not tighten bolts (2) yet.
16	Remove centering drift (4)
17	Tighten remaining two bolts (2) with engine oil and screw in; tighten all bolts (2)		*BA03.30-N-1001-01C
18	Push crankshaft position sensor (B15) or crankshaft position sensor (B73) all the way into the timing case	 Replace O-ring.
19	Install clutch	Model 673, 674, 676	AR25.10-W-0050A
		Model 374, 375, 950, 952, 953, 954, 958, 970, 972, 974, 975, 976 Vehicles with central clutch release bearing	AR25.10-W-0050C
