Do not remove transverse control arm from the steering knuckles; swivel transverse control arms to the side. | |||
9 | Fully remove integral carrier. | Use aid of helper. | |
10 | Remove front axle shafts from steering knuckles. | ||
The front axle shafts remain on transmission. | |||
11 | Secure vehicle on vehicle lift. | ||
12 | Unscrew nuts (1). | Nut, exhaust pipe to diesel particulate filter | |
13 | Remove exhaust pipe (2). | Installation: Replace seal. | |
14 | Disconnect hose and line connections. | ||
