Connect Star Diagnosis

Switch off high-voltage system using Star Diagnosis



 If a fault is displayed, disable high-voltage system.

 Print out and store power disable event log and, where applicable, shutoff event log of high-voltage system.



Check

Before replacing the coolant, check the cooling system for leak tightness and condition

Remove

Unscrew cap (2) from expansion reservoir (1)

Open drain valve (5) on cooler (4)

Drain coolant

 The old coolant and the corrosion residues must be completely flushed out.

If severely soiled – subject to separate repair order:



Clean the cooling system

Disconnect both coolant hoses (6) from hybrid engine (7)

 For complete emptying of the cooling system.



Install

Connect both coolant hoses (6) to hybrid engine (7)

Close drain valve (5) on cooler (4)

10

Fill coolant system
