	Prepare brake test
1	Switch all-wheel drive off	Only on model 903, 904, 906 with all-wheel drive
	General brake test (Only applies for countries without a specified brake test on the brake test stand)
2	Check braking characteristics of service brake and parking brake when driving		AP42.00-D-4290-01A
		 It must be ensured that the brake test when driving is performed as per the country-specific legislation and regulations. Otherwise, people may be injured or there may be damage to material and the environment!
	Brake test on brake test stand
 Danger !	Risk of death caused by limbs being caught or crushed by rotating parts when performing tests on the brake test stand	Never leave the vehicle unattended on the rollers except in an emergency. Ensure that no one is under the vehicle or near rotating parts during testing. In case of emergency, use the EMERGENCY OFF switch to shut down test stand.	AS42.00-Z-0001-01A

3	Move vehicle with front axle into roller brake test stand

		 Transmission in neutral during the test.
4	Measure deceleration values of service brake	 The permissible deviation from the larger value may be a maximum of 25 %. A braking effect must be discernible by the time the brake pedal has been depressed by a quarter of its overall travel distance. Malfunction or damage can occur otherwise.
		 Carry out test with engine running so that maximum vacuum is available. Press brake pedal uniformly. The maximum values prior to the wheels locking up are to be documented.
		If variations exist:
		
		Determine and rectify cause subject to separate repair order.
5	Move vehicle with rear axle into roller brake test stand

		 Operate parking brake uniformly. The maximum values prior to the wheels locking up are to be documented.
		If there are deviations from the corresponding specifications:
		
		Determine and rectify cause subject to separate repair order.
8	Drive the vehicle off the roller brake test stand
9	Enter deceleration values of the service brake and parking brake in the maintenance sheet	For maintenance operations.
