7 | Unscrew rigging screw (19) | Assembly: Coat thread with adhesive. | |

8 | Unscrew cover (8), remove springs (7) and balls (6) | ||
9 | Unscrew screw plug (18), remove spring (17) and ball (16) | ||

11 | Remove bearing cap (12). | Installation: Coat thread with adhesive. | |

14 | Detach transmission housing (14) | Heat transmission housing (14) in area of bearings to approx. 80-100°C and detach transmission housing (14), drive off with plastic mallet if necessary. Do not directly heat the seal of the ball bearings. | |
Assembly: Coat sealing surfaces with sealant. | |||

15 | Remove drive shaft (22) and output shaft (21) with shift forks (20, 23, 24) together from clutch housing (4) | Assembly: The shift fork (27) must be in the neutral position, insert a suitable spacer (28) approx. 40 mm up. | |
16 | Unhook shift fork (24) from guide in shift fork (20) | ||
17 | Detach shift forks (20, 23, 24) from drive shaft (22) and output shaft (21) | ||
18 | Check axial play of gearwheels | The axial play is a typical value and cannot be adjusted. | |
19 | Disassemble drive shaft (22) | ||
20 | Disassemble output shaft (21) | ||
21 | Check condition of teeth and bearings of gearwheels | ||
22 | Remove axle differential (25) from clutch housing (4) | ||
23 | Disassemble axle differential (25) | ||
24 | Check condition of teeth and bearings of reverse gear shaft (26) | ||
25 | Remove cover from clutch housing of reverse gear shaft | Replace cover. | |
26 | Drive reverse gear shaft (26) out of clutch housing (4) using a suitable drift | Remove shift fork (27) at the same time. | |
27 | Disassemble reverse gear shaft (26) | ||
28 | Check condition of bearing in clutch housing (4), disassemble clutch housing (4) if necessary | ||
29 | Check condition of bearing in transmission housing (14), disassemble transmission housing (14) if necessary | ||
30 | Assemble in the reverse order |
