Remove/install

Remove fuel injectors.

Remove rail.

Remove the low-pressure exhaust gas recirculation valve and place to one side.

Remove the lift solenoids.

Remove the camshaft Hall sensor.

Disconnect the engine wiring harness for removing the cylinder head cover (1).

Remove the support (2).

Remove noise insulation in front of poly-V belt.

Unclip the vacuum line (4) from the cylinder head cover (1) and place to one side.

Loosen the screw (8).

Loosen the screw for the cooler high-pressure -exhaust gas recirculation on the engine lifting lug.

Remove bolts (5).

Remove the screws (6) in reverse order from the tightening procedure.

Degrease the sealing surfaces on the cylinder head, rear cap, and cylinder head cover (1) using a lint-free rag.

Check engine oil level and correct.



Carry out engine test run and check engine for proper operation and leak tightness.
