1 | Remove injection lines. | ||
2 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors from high pressure fuel pressure sensor (B4/6) and from pressure regulating valve (Y74). | ||
3 | Unscrew union nuts of the high-pressure lines (2) from the rail (1) and catch escaping fuel with a rag. | Union nut, pressure line to rail | |
Open double hexagon box wrench | |||
4 | Open snap clamp (3), remove fuel return line (4) from the rail (1) and catch escaping fuel with a rag. | Installation: Replace snap clamp (3). | |
Pliers for click clamps | |||
5 | Seal openings with suitable stop plug. | Record plug | |
6 | Remove screws (5) and remove brackets (6). | Bolt, rail clip to cylinder head cover | |
7 | Remove rail (1). | ||
8 | Install in the reverse order. |
