A new coolant filling method has been developed for models 963 and 964. Filling takes place via a vacuum using a new vacuum-type cooling system filler (1). XENTRY support, as currently described, is no longer required with the new coolant filling method. Upon receipt of the vacuum-type cooling system filler (1), the new coolant filling method replaces the bleeding with XENTRY. The new procedure for filling can be found in the current work instructions.
As of 02.2020, the new coolant filling method must be used for the listed models with code F2N (Cab, 600 mm body floor height),. This is necessary because the coolant expansion reservoir is not located at the highest point and the engine cooling system cannot be sufficiently filled with the previous coolant filling method.
These models must be filled with a vacuum.
An insufficiently filled engine cooling system will result in damage to the engine.
