The electrical power steering (ES) actuator motor (A91m1) supports the steering-wheel torque applied by the driver on the basis of the input signals from the electrical power steering (ES) control unit (N68).

The rotary motion of the electrical power steering (ES) actuator motor (A91m1) is transmitted to the drive pinion shaft via a worm gear. The direction of rotation depends on the direction in which the driver turns the steering wheel.
