Fit protective caps (4, 5) onto injector and fuel connection

 Protect injector from damage and fuel connection from the ingress of cleaning product and dirt.

Clean injector (1) below the magnetic tensioning nut with cold cleaner and blow dry

 Cleaning products must not get into the electrical connector; risk of corrosion.

 It is also permissible to clean in the ultrasound bath.

Detach dirt sticking in the area of the pressure pipe connection (2) with a brass brush and remove with compressed air

 Tip of injector must not be touched.

Clamp assembly holder in a vise and insert injector (1) into the assembly holder

Unscrew pressure pipe connection (2) and take out sealing washer (3)

 Used pressure pipe connection and sealing washer must not be re-used.

Apply a thin coat of universal grease to the sealing surface of the new pressure pipe connection (2), fit on sealing washer (3) and center

Turn in pressure pipe connection with sealing washer and tighten fully

Mark pressure pipe connection with a white colored dot

 It is not permissible to replace the pressure pipe connection a second time. If repeated leakage occurs, replace the injector.
