1 | Remove trim panel of cylinder head cover | ||
2 | Disconnect leak oil line (1) at injectors | Press in safety clamps of the injectors to the closed side up to the stop and remove leak oil line (1). | |
3 | Pinch off leak oil line (1) with circuit | | |
4 | Fit measuring tubes (2) onto the injectors and secure with clamps | | |
5 | Remove the plug (3) at the camshaft sensor | Carry out steps 5, 6 and 7 only if the engine does not start; otherwise proceed with step 8 | |

6 | Perform the starting procedure for about 10 seconds according to instructions in the DAS. Read off the leakage quantity in the injectors on the small graduated tubes on the inside | Read off the test result on the right side (seen in the direction of travel) on the graduated tubes and enter the result in the DAS. | |
7 | Insert the plug (3) at the camshaft sensor | ||
8 | After instructions in the DAS, crank the engine and follow the testing procedure in the DAS. Read off the leakage quantity in the injectors on the big graduated tubes | Enter the test result in the DAS. Read out the evaluation. In case of a larger Leakage quantity | |
Replace corresponding injectors. | |||
9 | Install in the reverse order | ||
10 | Erase fault memory in CDI control unit with STAR DIAGNOSIS |
