1 | Warm up engine to normal operating temperature. | ||
2 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m). | ||
3 | Remove spark plugs. | ||

4 | Connect compression pressure recorder (01). | ||

5 | Turn engine with contact switch on compression pressure recorder (01) for approx. 5 s. | ||
This process serves to remove combustion residue from the cylinders. | |||
6 | Screw screw-in piece into tapped bore of the spark plug of the cylinder to be checked. | Screw-in fitting | |
7 | Connect compression pressure recorder (01) to screw-in piece. | ||

8 | Turn engine via contact switch of compression pressure recorder (01) until pressure no longer rises in compression pressure recorder (01). | ||
9 | Carry out test procedure on further cylinders in the same way. | ||
10 | Compare measurement values with permissible values. | Installation tolerance or new value of compression pressure | |
