Open maintenance flap

Attach connector (L) to expansion reservoir (1)

 To do so, remove filter in expansion reservoir (1).



Connect filling hose (I), Y-shaped adapter (K) and receptacle (H) to bleed hose (21) of filling and bleeding unit

 Only filling and bleeding units that are approved in GOTIS and are already marked with one of the following adhesive labels may be used:

"HY2" for Romess Rogg GmbH & Co. KG

"BOY II MO" for Bodo Stier Hydrotechnik GmbH

"NEU HY 2" for GL GmbH



Switch on filling and bleeding unit

 Flush the filling and bleeding unit until hydraulic fluid free of bubbles flows through the inspection glass (20) of the filling hose (I).

Switch off filling and bleeding unit

Detach Y-shaped adapter (K) from receptacle (H) and connect to connector (L)



Connect return hose (E) to bleed valve (4) of clutch booster (3) and guide to receptacle (H)

 The hydraulic fluid must be collected in the receptacle (H) because during the bleeding process it combines with air and may then no longer be poured into the filling and bleeding unit.



Switch on filling and bleeding unit

Adjust bleeding pressure on filling and bleeding unit to 1 bar

 Pay attention to manufacturer's operating instructions.

Open bleed valve (4)

 Open the bleed valve (4) by at least 90°. Perform bleed process until the hydraulic fluid flows through the return hose (E) free of bubbles. Repeatedly operate the clutch pedal at the same time.

Close bleed valve (4), detach return hose (E) and fit to bleed valve (5) of clutch booster (3)



Open bleed valve (5)

 Open the bleed valve (5) by at least 90°. Perform bleed process until the hydraulic fluid flows through the return hose (E) free of bubbles. Repeatedly operate the clutch pedal at the same time.

Close bleed valve (5) and detach return hose (E)



Check bleed valves (4, 5) for leaks

Detach return hose (E) from receptacle (H) and then connect return hose (F) to receptacle (H)

 Bleed valves (4, 5) and bleed valve (2) have different outside diameters.



Attach return hose (F) to bleed valve (2) of central clutch release bearing

Open bleed valve (2)

 Open the bleed valve (2) by at least 90°. Perform bleed process until the hydraulic fluid flows through the return hose (F) free of bubbles. Repeatedly operate the clutch pedal at the same time.

Close bleed valve (2) and detach return hose (F)



Check bleed valve (2) for leaks

Switch off filling and bleeding unit and detach connector (L) from expansion reservoir (1)

 The filling and bleeding unit must be unpressurized, lower the pressure if necessary.

Correct the hydraulic fluid level in expansion reservoir (1)

Perform a function test

 If the function of the clutch operating system is inadequate, repeat the bleeding operation.
