Set heater controls to maximum output


The heater of the vehicle must be set to the highest temperature stage.
The heater circuit will not be flushed otherwise.

Run engine at moderate rpms to warm it up to about 80°C and hold at this temperature for about 5 minutes

Switch off engine and allow cooling system to cool down to about 50°C

Drain flushing solution completely

Observe environmental protection regulations of cleaner manufacturer.

Fill cooling system with fresh water, warm up for about 5 minutes and drain it off again
