Remove/install

Remove belt pulley/vibration damper (8)

Press out radial shaft sealing ring (5) using a suitable tool from the mounting hole

AR03.20-P-3000-01MT

Do not damage crankshaft (1) and mounting hole; use a clean rag as a base to press out .
Leakage can occur otherwise.

 Installation: Indent radial shaft sealing ring (5) with  drift flush in timing case cover.
Repair solution for galling on belt pulley/vibration damper (8):
Press in radial shaft sealing ring (5) 0.7 mm deeper evenly by an injection depth (B).

Check contact surface of radial shaft sealing ring (5) at hub of belt pulley/vibration damper (8)

 Replace belt pulley/vibration damper (8) if there are score marks and galling.

Install in the reverse order

Check engine oil level and correct if necessary


