1 | Remove bottom section of soundproofing | ||
Danger! | Risk of injury to skin and eyes due to scalding caused by contact with hot coolant spray Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing coolant. | Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses. | |
2 | Drain coolant at radiator (1) | Open drain plug (1a). | |

3 | Remove fan shroud | ||
4 | Remove trim panels (2) on right and left at front module | Each attached with 2 clips | |
5 | Unscrew bolts (3) of condenser (4) at radiator (1) | ||
6 | Detach coolant line (5) at expansion reservoir | ||
7 | Detach coolant line (6) at radiator (1) | Installation: Inspect seals for damage and replace if required. Ensure the locking clamp (6a) is correctly installed. | |
8 | Detach coolant line (7) at radiator (1) | Installation: Inspect seals for damage and replace if required. Ensure the locking clamp (6a) is correctly installed. | |
9 | Detach transmission oil line (8) at radiator (1), separate the coupling (arrow) | Remove transmission oil line (8). Seal transmission oil line and connection at radiator. | |
Installation: Check oil level in automatic transmission; correct if necessary. | |||

10 | Detach transmission oil line (9) at radiator (1) | Seal transmission oil line (9) and connection at radiator. | |
Installation: Check oil level in automatic transmission; correct if necessary. | |||

11 | Unbolt line of AC at radiator (1) on side (arrow) | ||
12 | Unbolt both brackets (10) | ||
13 | Push radiator (1) back toward engine | ||
14 | Unclip side panels (11) on right and left at radiator (1) | ||
15 | Unscrew bolts (12) of charge air cooler (13) at radiator (1) | Removal: The screws (12) can be reached only if the side radiator cowls on right and left side are pulled up slightly. | |
16 | Take out radiator (1) in an upward direction | ||
17 | Install in the reverse order |
