Due to recent events we would like to notify you that the return shipment of drive shafts in the past has not followed the procedure given in the Warranty Manual.
As specified in the Warranty Manual the original packaging for the new parts is to be used for return shipment of the drive shafts to ensure that a proper inspection can then be conducted.
Do not send drive shafts in disassembled condition.
The technician's findings must contain representative and clear information on the damage such as, e.g.: "Whistling noise at 80 km/h".
A technician's findings stating that the drive shaft exhibits so-called "locking points" after a brief break-in period is not acceptable because this is a standard feature of this design and therefore not an impairment as understood by the warranty. Additional information on this is available in TIPS, Group 40.10.
In the event of an incorrect return shipment we reserve the right to charge back the drive shaft.
