Due to recent events, we would like to inform you that on engines 457.9 with code (N52/N53) rear engine power take-off, a modified crankshaft gear is installed on the crankshaft.
Due to this modification, a race (2) with part number A 000 032 00 09 and a width (a) of 16.5 mm must be installed in the event of repair.

To install the race (2) on the flange of the flywheel (1), the drift (3) and also the adapter (4) with a width of 4.5 mm must be used.
There must be a gap (b) of 4.5 (+0.2) mm between the race (2) and the surface of the flange on the flywheel (1).
On no account should a race (2) with the following part no. A 403 032 03 09 (valid for engine 457.9 without code N52 (Rear engine power take-off, output torque 600 Nm) or without code N53) (Rear engine power take-off, for hydraulic pump)) be installed.
This race has a width of 21.0 mm and, as a result, can cause damage to the collar of the flywheel or to the thrust ring.
The standard version of the radial shaft sealing ring has a wider contact surface, thereby providing a better seal with lower wear on the sealing surface of the flywheel (1), and should always be installed.
A race (2) and a radial shaft sealing ring with a larger inside diameter may only be installed if there is severe galling on the sealing surface on the flange of the flywheel (1).
