 Insert assembly device on the rear axle and lower vehicle until this abuts the assembly device. The zero position reached corresponds to an inclinometer angle of 0.82° at the rear axle.

Perform wheel alignment check

 During the chassis alignment the actual chassis data such as camber (α), toe-in and caster (τ), are determined irrespective of the vehicle level.

Check camber (α) using vehicle level and match with value in table

 Use the measured vehicle level to look up the specified values for the camber (α) on the table sheet and note down these values. Compare the specified values of camber (α) with the actual values from the chassis measurement. If the measured value deviates, adjust the camber (α).

 The caster (τ) cannot be adjusted but it must be checked to verify the correct chassis geometry.

Adjust camber (α) according to table value

 Replace cam bolt (1), collar bolt (2) and nuts if not already replaced during the previous operations. To replace the cam bolt (1) and collar bolt (2) lift up the respective axle half.

 Set the camber (α) to the specified value using the cam bolt (1) and then tighten the cam bolt (1) and collar bolt (2). To facilitate the torque angle, lift up the respective axle half.
