Remove, disassemble

Drain transmission oil

Unscrew screw plug (22) and remove sealing ring (23), remove oil screen (25) with spring (24)

Detach oil cooler lines

 Only with code (N55) Transmission oil cooling.

Remove output flange (18)

Remove the end cover (19).

Only on transmissions without PTO.

Remove oil pump (20), shim (21) and oil pressure relief valve

Remove lock rod for interlock

Remove range group shift cylinder (15)

Unscrew bearing pin (16)

Turn shift piston through 180° with piston rod (14) and pull out

Remove radial shaft sealing ring and pilot bushing of the shift piston with piston rod (14)

Unscrew bolts around circumference of transmission housing

Install guide bolt (26).



Pull off rear section of transmission housing (13)

 Do not damage the sealing surface.

Remove circlip (10), ball bearing (11) and pulse star (12)

Remove shift fork (8) and take out sliding blocks

Detach planetary gear set with shift mechanism (7)

Check sun gear (2) for wear and damage, replace if necessary

Remove circlip (3) and detach the sun gear (2)

 Only when replacing the sun gear (2).

Disassemble planetary gear set with shift mechanism (7)
