Removing

Disconnect compressed-air lines from shift cylinder (3)

Shift shift piston (5) of range group into the "Low-speed" position

 To do this, pressurize connection of range group position "Low-speed" (44) with compressed air.

Detach shift cylinder (3)

Detach O-rings (2, 4 and 6)

Detach sealing ring (1) from shift piston (5)



Install

Fit new sealing ring (1) on shift piston (5)

 Pack cavity between the two sealing lips of sealing ring (1) with lubricant.

Lubricant with brown sealing ring (1).

Lubricant with black sealing ring (1).

Fit new O-ring (4) in transmission

 Coat O-ring (4) with synthetic grease.

Place new O-rings (2, 6) on shift cylinder (3)

 Coat O-rings (2, 6) with lubricant.

Slide on O-ring (6) until it abuts.

Sealing on shift cylinder for range group or on range module changed

Install cylindrical actuator (3)



Install compressed-air lines at the connection for the "low-speed" range group position (44) and at the connection for the "high-speed" range group position (45) of the shift cylinder (3)
