1 | Disconnect propeller shaft from output flange (2) | Bolt/nut, propeller shaft to flange connection | |
2 | Fit retainer wrench to output flange (2). | Retainer wrench | |
3 | Unscrew bolt (5), take off thrust washer (4) and sealing ring (3). | Installation: Replace compression ring (3). | |
Stretch bolt to output flange | |||
4 | Detach output flange (2) from main shaft | Use a suitable puller if necessary. | |
Installation: If the output flange (2) cannot be pushed on by hand, then heat the output flange (2) to approx. 80_°C. | |||
5 | Use extraction hook (6) to remove radial-shaft sealing ring (1) from transmission | Installation: Coat new radial shaft sealing ring (1) with grease. | |
