Separate electrical connector on speed sensor (B17)

Vehicles up to vehicle ident. end no. 501091

 Installation: Attach tamper-proof seal to electrical connector with speed sensor (B17).

Remove sealing cap from speed sensor (B17)

Vehicles as of vehicle ident. end no. 501092

 Installation: Install new sealing cap.

Remove range group solenoid valve (3)

 Installation: Replace O-rings.

Remove housing cover (1)

 Installation: Install new O-ring (4). Coat housing cover sealing surface and bolts with sealing compound.

 Installation: Pack space behind the radial shaft sealing ring with long-life grease.
