Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.

Unscrew cap (1) from filler neck (2).

Plug drain hose onto drain fitting (arrow) of engine radiator.

Open drain screw (3) on engine radiator and collect coolant in a suitable container.

Connect drain hose to the drain screw (4.1) on cylinder crankcase, open drain screw (4.1) and collect coolant in a suitable container.

Unscrew drain screw (4) from crankcase at left and right, and collect coolant in a suitable container.

Remove drain screw (5) from retarder, and collect coolant in a suitable container.

Detach drain hose from drain fitting (arrow) of engine radiator and drain screw (4.1).

Screw drain screw (4, 4.1) into crankcase.
