3 | High-pressure pump high-pressure line to fuel distributor (rail) |
S07.16-4628-06
Due to recent events we would like to remind you that to avoid any leaks, a new fuel distributor high-pressure line (rail) to the fuel injector (1) or a high-pressure pump high-pressure line to the fuel distributor (rail) (3) must always be installed, if it was detached or removed as part of any repair operations.
The retightening of individual union nuts on the high-pressure line of the fuel distributor (rail) to the injection nozzle (1) or union nuts of the high-pressure lines from the high-pressure pump to the fuel distributor (rail) (3) when leakages are detected is not permissible. In this case too, the high-pressure line involved must be replaced.
Maintain cleanliness at all times when handling high-pressure lines. Always replace high-pressure lines, do not crush or bend when installing and installation must be free of tension.
Leaks and damage nay occur otherwise.
Seal connections on fuel distributor (rail) (2) and the fuel injectors.
Leaks and damage nay occur otherwise.
The appropriate repair documentation is available in the WIS.
