MODEL 903.662 with CODE (ZA8) Refrigerator vehicle
Refrigerator vehicles on a Sprinter base have been available as complete vehicles directly from the Mercedes-Benz sales organisation since March 2003.
The Sprinter base is equipped with special equipment code ZA8 for refrigerator vehicles. The vehicle can be customized to meet special customer requests by installing special equipment
Stationary refrigeration (code ZQ1)
Air flow refrigeration curtain (code ZQ2)
Memory system (code ZQ4)
Self-cleaning system (code ZQ7)
and other special equipment not listed here.
The vehicle was presented in September 2003 as part of an Akubis program (automobile customer-oriented broadcast information system).

Parts documentation and supply
The maintenance and wear parts of the refrigerator vehicle are documented in EPC under model series 903.662. Parts can be ordered using the parts ordering system. All parts are listed with their object number.
Parts which must be ordered directly from Kerstner are indicated in the EPC.

The additional instructions for the refrigerator vehicle scope of supply are enclosed with the vehicle.

The most important repair and adjustment operations are described in the Workshop Information System (WIS).

Additional inspection and special tools are not required.
Training:
Vehicle-accompanying training seminars are offered as needed by DS/GTTC in conjunction with Kerstner.
Warranty processing/hotline:
The warranty conditions for the Sprinter apply to the entire scope of the vehicle.
Warranty processing will be carried out using the VEGA simplified warranty processing system. Code-specific damage codes can be found in function group 68.30.

Special features
A new roof cooling unit must be installed if work to the closed refrigerant circuit is required.
In special cases following discussion with and approval from Kerstner, factory-reconditioned cooling units may also be installed in vehicles.
